Klepper to Head DOT's Build America Bureau

 DOT Secretary Anthony Foxx has named Martin Klepper the initial executive director of DOT’s Build America Bureau, a recently created entity that streamlines access to federal credit and grant opportunities; provides technical assistance for project planning, financing, delivery and monitoring; and helps state and local governments develop and finance transportation-related P3s.
| Klepper, a senior partner in the Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, has closed more than 100 major transportation, energy and other infrastructure transactions and worked with various public and private entities on energy and infrastructure financing.
The Build America Bureau combines TIFIA, RRIF and other DOT funding programs.
