NTI Webinar on Multiagency Electronic Fare Systems
The National Transit Institute (NTI) invites fare collection professionals to participate in a 90-minute webinar on current trends in multi-agency public transit electronic fare systems, May 11 beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time.
The webinar will focus on two Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) reports: Synthesis 125 on Multiagency Electronic Fare Payment Systems and Report 177, Preliminary Strategic Analysis of Next Generation Fare Payment Systems for Public Transportation.
Synthesis 125 describes current systems and reviews next-generation approaches through existing implementation case examples. Report 177 explores attributes, implementation strategies and applications of next generation transit fare payment systems for public transportation.
