LaHood Sends Letter to Governors on New Federal Regulations

On August 28, DOT Secretary Ray LaHood sent letters to governors of 26 states as well as Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. The letters focus on preparations for new federal regulations that the department will propose in the near future based on oversight of public transit safety outlined in MAP-21. |
