M+Visión Fellowship in Translational Biomedical Imaging
Deadline: February 15, 2013
This is a multidisciplinary, flexible experience sponsored by the Madrid-MIT M+Vision Consortium, focused on important problems with research projects formulated by the fellows. Fellowship begins in July 2013. See details.

Young Investigator Student Fellowship Awards for Female Scholars in Vision Research
Deadline: Feb. 15, 2013
Grants will range from $3,000 – $5,000 for the summer 2013 fellowship sponsored by Prevent Blindness Ohio. Applicants must be post-baccalaureate students enrolled in a master’s or doctorate program during the summer of 2013, female citizens and permanent residents of the U.S., and conducting research with a recognized academic Ohio-based institution.

European Research Council and National Science Foundation initiative
NSF career awardees and NSF postdoc fellows are invited to apply for single- and long-term visits to Europe to join ERC grantees. The time spent in Europe will be in addition to the duration of the fellowship (for NSF postdoctoral fellowships). Specific proposals should be made to the NSF by the eligible U.S.-based researchers starting early 2013. Get details.
