Welcome to the ASLME Insider
It is my great pleasure to introduce our all-new monthly e-newsletter, “ASLME Insider.” The Insider proposes to bring you all the latest news in health law, medicine, ethics, public policy, public health, and all of the related disciplines that the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics covers in its role as the most important multidisciplinary meeting ground in the health law world. The Insider will keep you up-to-date on important upcoming events involving ASLME, including publications, conferences, postings to our website, and breaking news. But that is not all. We want to make the Insider the most important clearinghouse in the business for news from you, our members and readers.
With the Insider, we now have the means to communicate with the many members of ASLME and the readers of our two journals, the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics and the American Journal of Law & Medicine. But to provide all of the latest news, we need your help: we want to hear from you. Do you or your employer have a job that needs posting? Send it to the Insider. Do you have a call for papers, a conference to announce, or a new book to promote? Let us know about it. Do you have a new hire to announce, a new research group that is calling for members, or an important publication you wish to call attention to? Tell us here at the Insider, and we will tell the health law world.
The advantages of sending news to the Insider is obvious: you will be reaching the most important and most up-to-date multidisciplinary audience for health law and related fields in the world. If you want your job posting, announcement, or call for papers read by the people who matter, than it has to be in the Insider!
Submitting news and announcements to the Insider is easy. Simply send your news (whatever it might be) to ASLME’s membership director, Margo Buege, at email@example.com. Job postings will cost $100 per job to post for members of ASLME, and $200 for non-members. Any other type of announcement will cost $100 for non-members, and will be absolutely free to members of ASLME. Thus, the Insider is just another great reason to belong to the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics.
We hope that you enjoy your first issue of the Insider, and help us to create what will surely be the most vital source of news for what is going on in our increasingly multidisciplinary world.
