Article of the Month

Each month, ASLME Insider readers can download the "Article of the Month" free of charge!

This month's featured article is "Return of Research Results: General Principles and International Perspectives?" by Emmanuelle Lévesque, Yann Joly, and Jacques Simard from JLME 39.4.

Where in the World is JLME?

Last month's "Where in the World is JLME?" featured Priscilla Buege in front of the Big Chicken in Marietta, Georgia. The Big Chicken was originally built in the 1960's as an advertising tool for Johnny Reb's Chick, Chuck and Shake. The restaurant was later sold and became a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise. Today it is a landmark in Marietta and is often referenced in driving directions.

Our winner is Doreen Lyman of Lansing, Michigan who was the first to submit a correct response. Congratulations to Doreen!

ASLME brings you a special edition of "Where in the World is JLME?" this month in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, observed this year on January 16, 2012. The photo features ASLME staff members, Courtney McClellan, Margo Buege, and Katie Johnson in front of a sculpture on Boston University's Marsh Plaza. The sculpture, titled Free At Last, is a tribute to Dr. King, who earned his  Ph.D. in systematic theology at the University in 1955. The ASLME office is located in the Boston University School of Law, steps away from this monument. Today Boston University is home to thousands of Dr. King's personal papers, and the University awards a scholarship to students who embody King's ideals.

Please help us keep "Where in the World is JLME?" going! Snap a photo of you or a friend holding the journal in front of something that is recognizable enough for readers to guess where you are. Your photo will be featured in an upcoming issue of the Insider.

Send in your photos or guesses to Margo Buege at margo@aslme.org. Join us next month to see where JLME will travel to next!
