Member Spotlight: Sharona Hoffman
Our Member Spotlight this month features Professor Sharona Hoffman, J.D.,
L.L.M., who is an experienced lecturer having shared her health law expertise with
audiences across the United States and internationally. The Society pleased to
have her as a speaker during ASLME’s 35th Annual Health Law Professors
Conference in Tempe, Arizona. Hoffman will be a panelist in two sessions:
"Patient Autonomy, Privacy, and Decision-Making” and “Emerging Health Care
Workforce: Supply and Demand.”
Hoffman is currently a Professor at Case Western Reserve
University School of Law. She also serves as Co-Director of the Law-Medicine
Center and holds a Secondary appointment as a Professor of Bioethics at the
School of Medicine. She was Associate
Dean for Academic Affairs in 2006-09 and was voted First Year Teacher of the
Year by the 1L class in 2011 and 2012.
