April 15th is celebrated as Patriot’s Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; it commemorates the battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolution, and the beginning of our nation’s march towards independence. In our home city this civic holiday has also assumed the role of a statewide block party, celebrating the annual running of the Boston Marathon. This most special day is for many Bostonians the de facto start of springtime and the signal that warmer days are ahead. Read More
