JLME Accepting Symposium Proposals

The Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics is always on the lookout for new and interesting symposium topics. Symposiums in JLME can cover a wide variety of subjects but are multidisciplinary in nature and must appeal to the broad and diverse readership of JLME. Recent symposium topics in JLME include conflicts of interest in medicine, global health and the law, and nanotechnology, among many others.

If you or a team of scholars would like to guest-edit a symposium in JLME, a proposal may be sent to Ted Hutchinson at A proposal should consist of a concise summary outlining the importance and potential contribution of the symposium, biographies of the guest editor(s), and a list of potential or actual authors and the subject areas they will explore in their individual papers. All papers, as well as the proposal itself, will be peer-reviewed. A symposium proposal for JLME need not be more than 2-3 pages.

We look forward to hearing from you!
