JLME 45.1 and Supplement Now Online!
This month we were pleased to be able to send the latest issues of the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics to the printer! Our Spring issue featured the symposium “Under Attack: Reconceptualizing Informed Consent,”
guest edited by Valerie Gutmann Koch and Nanette R. Elster. The
symposium features ten great articles, including a piece written by JLME’s first Editor-in-Chief, George Annas. The issue also contains our usual array of independent articles and columns.
Along with this issue, we are also proud to present a special
supplement, "2016 Public Health Law Conference- Lead, Connect, Innovate: Strategies for Achieving Health Equity." Guest edited by Donna Levin, this supplement contains the papers delivered at the national 2016 Public Health Law
Conference in Washington, D.C., This conference was co-sponsored by our parent organization, ASLME,
along with the Network for Public Health Law and generously funded by
the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The supplement is available to download for free on our website! We hope you enjoy these two very
special issues of JLME!Finally, we note with pride that this
is now our 45th year of publication. As we march inexorably towards our
half-century anniversary, we want to thank as always the many writers,
editors, and contributors who have made the journal the great
publication it is, and we especially want to thank our loyal readers and
the wonderful members of ASLME who allow us to continue to produce this
publication of which we are so very proud. Thank you.
