Winter 2005
Battling Sexual Abuse with Prevention and Treatment - ASTA 24th Annual Research Conference
November 2-5, 2005
Sheraton New Orleans, New Orleans, LA

The conference committee is already at work planning the pre-conference day and the Call for Abstracts has been mailed. If you are considering submitting an abstract for a presentation at the conference please note the deadline is March 18, 2005.  Check the web site www.atsa.com for submission procedure details.  A new feature of this year's call for abstracts is a request that submissions include a declaration of any financial interests in any commercially available product involved in the presentation. Please see the relevant statement in the submission form.

Audiophilia, the official ATSA band is back by popular demand to perform at the opening reception on Wednesday night so practice your dance moves.  It was reported that at the Albuquerque Conference some ATSA legends were seen on the dance floor for the first time in many, many years.  Plan to attend the opening reception and enjoy this special event.

A link to the Sheraton New Orleans to reserve your  room for the conference should be available on the ATSA web site in the near future, but if you want to make early reservations with the Sheraton New Orleans be certain to mention that you are attending the ATSA Conference to receive the guaranteed conference room rate.  We are planning some special promotions for attendees who stay at the Sheraton New Orleans and the details will be on the web site soon.

Make your plans and your reservations early. Please remember that all of our rooms sold out in Albuquerque.
