-
ESHB 1873, regarding wrongful injury or death of a child, will be heard next week. Please contact Senate Judiciary Committee members and ask them not to pass out of committee this expansion of liability for wrongful injury or death causes of action that will just make these cases over which we have little control more expensive. See the Law & Justice section for more information.
-
Now is the time to contact your Representatives urging them to oppose E2SSB 5659, which establishes a family leave insurance program. The bill creates more confusion and risk of liability for employers trying to comply with already confusing leave laws. See the Personnel & Labor Relations section for more information.
