AWI Convention Update

Newly Added Convention Benefits for AWI Attendees

Just when you thought you had all the benefits of attending the AWI 54th Annual, October 4-7, 2006 committed to memory, AWI gives you more reasons to attend the annual gathering of members.

There’s a new Spouse Registration Package offered at a reduced rate of $375 for selected events.  It’s a great package offered in response to member inquiries and it covers:  the Memorial & Recognition Dinner (Industry Reception) at the D-Day Museum, Thursday, October 5, plus admittance to the Museum which will be open that evening exclusively for AWI members; the Product Fair at the Foundry which will include an open bar and reception Friday, October 6; and the “Second Line” Mardi Gras Parade to the Creole Queen Riverboat, Saturday, October 7, where we’ll enjoy the festivities of the final night banquet and cruise.

Also new is sponsored transportation for the Golf and Sporting Clay tournaments courtesy of the AWI Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter – another cost-saving benefit for attendees.  AWI extends thanks and appreciation to the chapter for generously sponsoring this great service for members.

And yet another benefit…this one for AWI chapters.  Plan to attend the “AWI Chapter Officer Appreciation Reception,” Friday, October 6, 5:30 – 6:30 pm prior to the Product Fair at The Foundry.  This complimentary AWI reception and briefing will bring chapter officers together for networking and an update on AWI National’s activities.  Don’t miss it!
