Business Resources

New One-Stop Compliance Web Site Opens for Business

A quick-reference, online resource offering access to a host of federal government forms became available on October 12, 2006. The resources are available from 21 federal agencies that regulate or serve businesses.

Business.gov is “the official business link to the U.S. government.”  Check it out to search for compliance information by topic and industry, including “Construction and Facilities.”  The site also features links for 13 business areas that include, “Environmental Compliance,” “Government Contracting,” “Licenses & Permits,” and more.

The U.S. Small Business Administration manages the site in partnership with participating federal agencies.  Plans call for phasing in state and municipal compliance information to expand the scope of the site.
