Bauer’s Transportation provides corporations, transit systems, schools, airports, and transportation managers one of the largest fleets in America — over 150 luxury vehicles — from state-of –the-art eco-luxury business shuttles to black car celebrity and VIP services to the renowned San Francisco cable cars. The business employs over 200 employees, including 150 well-trained chauffeurs, who transport thousands of people each day to and from work and to special venues.
With an eye to the future and the planet, the company introduced “Green” transportation strategies in 1999. Highlighting the company’s “Corporate Green Initiative” is the fact that 97% of the miles driven by Bauer’s Transportation are done with alternative fuels, such as compressed natural gas, bio-diesel and propane. In 2009, Bauer’s was presented with the prestigious “Green Highway” awarded for the greenest transportation company in American by the United Motorcoach Association.
In addition, Bauer’s Transportation recently won the 2009 distinguished Ebby Award presented by the San Francisco business community to the company that has demonstrated a capacity for creativity and innovation, experienced growth and established itself as a leader in its industry.
In 2010, the United Motorcoach association once again recognized Bauer’s Transportation as an industry leader with their award of leadership. The Vision Award recognizes a company that:
- Engages in sound business practices
- Has an excellent safety record
- Regularly employs innovative marketing, operations and customer service approaches
- Maintains its fleet to the highest standards
- Raises the standards for all motor coach companies and the profile of the entire motor coach industry
- Gives back to the community
Bauer’s personal philosophy of building long-lasting relationships with clients, vendors and valued team members provides a solid foundation for Bauer’s Transportation. He is dedicated to outstanding customer service and worry-free, safe, effortless and environmentally-friendly transportation that exceeds all expectations.
