BIA Chairman Davis Henry Calls For Nominations For The BIA Lifetime Achievement Award

Deadline to Submit is Tomorrow

It is once again time for the Brick Industry Association’s (BIA) call for nominations for our most prestigious award, the BIA Lifetime Achievement Award (LAA). This award is designed to honor outstanding individuals who have given substantially of themselves throughout their career to the advancement and betterment of the clay brick industry.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES AND PROCESS:

1. Only one award per year
Only one award will be granted in any year. No award will be presented in the absence of suitable candidates.

2. Eligibility
The Award recognizes any individual who has contributed to the clay brick industry for a minimum of twenty-five years. The nominee may have been a corporate executive, an engineer, a sales or marketing representative, a plant or operations director, or have held another position. What is critical is that the nominee exhibited leadership and dedication to our industry. A nominee need not be an employee of a BIA member company, but their contributions should be viewed with BIA’s mission and goals in mind.

3. Nomination Process
To nominate and individual for the LAA, please submit a nomination package containing the following information:

  • Current full contact information of the nominee, including phone number
  • Span and scope of career and the contribution(s) made to the betterment of the industry
  • Explanation of why this individual should be considered for this award
  • A color photo of the nominee
  • Current full contact information of the person or persons making the nomination
  • Any endorsements from associates, colleagues, clients, vendors, members of the industry, etc.

The nomination package should be addressed to the BIA Executive Committee and emailed in a Word format to Lisa Cyphers at lcyphers@bia.org (preferred), or mailed to BIA National at:
