Conferencing Spotlight
For conference calls and for the dial-in audio component of Web events (Webinars, Webcasts, etc.) CommPartners recommends Premiere Global Services’ ReadyConference Plus.
For those using RC Plus for self-directed (unassisted) audio, there are several handy online and touch-tone controls/shortcuts.

Tips for personalizing users’ phone and Web conferencing audio experience:
- Customize greetings. These are changeable for each phone or Web conference (e.g., “Don’t forget to register for our annual meeting…to join your call…”).
- Recording features. Using phone touchtone, you may record conference calls for future anytime-access.
- Transcripts. These may be ordered online at the conferencing homepage.
- Sound quality. Hosts and attendees have the ability to control sound quality through a Web interface or touch-tone features. (E.g., if you have a presenter who is on cell phone or has background noise, the moderator can mute that person when not speaking.)
- Scheduling. It’s easy to schedule an audio conference, as you would other meetings on your Outlook calendar, using Premiere Global Service’s download-able toolbar.
- Security. The SecureTouch feature automatically establishes conference call safeguards, such as name announcement on entry/exit, participant roll call and pre-conference on-hold music. If you choose, you may create access codes for each call, to ensure privacy.
