Meet Chris

Chris began his CommPartners career with our events management department in June 2007, where he ‘learned the ropes,’ working as a production assistant supporting client-managed live Web seminars.

Recently, Chris was offered a position in our growing customer care department because of his professionalism and thoughtful handling of client needs. His talent and dedication was officially recognized in February, when he was dubbed the month’s Peak Performer.

“I would summarize my job as a troubleshooter/advisor. I spend each day assisting clients with our wide range of e-collaboration tools. It’s a very busy job that sometimes gets stressful, but keeping a smile and positive attitude is the key to success in this department.”

Before CommPartners

Chris honed his customer services skills working at the Tremont Plaza Hotel as a member of the front office staff. “It was a high-paced job, but fun! I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world on a daily basis.”

He’s an alum of Towson State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, with a focus on sociology and history. Chris says he “intends to pursue a Master’s in the near future, but is enjoying the time away from school!”

A Maryland native, Chris was born in Annapolis and raised in Columbia. “I grew up in a great family – with my parents, brother and two dogs (Shadow and Kodi) – spending a lot of time outdoors with neighborhood friends. We rode bikes, played by the river, held pick-up soccer games…”

On the weekends

“The weekends are a time to let loose! I keep a rigid schedule during the weekday – work, gym for about two hours a day, and then in bed no later than 10 PM. I practically live in DC during the weekends with friends. Sundays are a bit more relaxing; I usually spend the day at my parents’ house. Once the weather gets nicer, I will start traveling on the weekends, mostly to South Carolina.”
