Multimedia Content Capture
In addition to recording live events – Webinars, Webcasts, phone conferences – to repurpose for on-demand access, CommPartners’ content capture services are much more wide-ranging.
We will arrange for sessions at our partner studio in Arlington, Virginia, or come to your location for an audio and/or video shoot. For the shoot, we’ll provide speaker coaching, room setup, slide timing and media crew management (sound, lighting, etc.).
In addition, CommPartners’ professional group of videographers and producers will capture audio and/or video and learning objects, and ensure the highest quality production. For projects outside of Washington, DC, we have relationships with studios that can support your remote video capture needs.
In-studio productions offer a controlled environment for a truly professional, polished outcome. This option is recommended when the spontaneity of a captured live event is less important than a focused, deliberate message.
For example, in-studio recording is optimal for planned video segments, such as interviews with experts/industry leaders, which can be incorporated later into a ‘live’ Webcast that features other panelists and slide presentations.

Streaming Web/audio. We create a custom e-console with your organization’s branding, to:
- Embed in emails, e-newsletters, Web sites, live Webinars/Webcasts
- View on-demand, via Windows Media Player, Flash or Real Player

Audio CD and synchronized audio/Web recordings on CD boxed sets. The continued popularity of hard copy disks is attributable to user convenience and high perceived value. CommPartners creates the artwork for the jewel case and CD imprint, burns the CDs and handles distribution to your stakeholders.

Association example: ASA
CommPartners is currently handling three complementary projects for American Society of Anesthesiologists. These projects illustrate our content capture capabilities and our experience delivering training and professional development programming.
In planning ASA’s offerings, we worked with their management team to: define learning objectives; create content and a method that supported those objectives; and furnish related processes (e.g., online assessments for continuing education credits and e-certificate generation).
Content capture projects for ASA include:
- Capturing live sessions at their annual meeting. From our recordings, we produced streaming Webcasts and created a portal to offer the seminars online. Once a user completes a seminar, a customized assessment is generated. If a participant passes, a merged certificate is created. We developed an administrative login to show in real-time who purchased and viewed each Webcast, who passed/failed the exams and what their scores were. (http://highlightscme.asahq.org/)
- Creation of e-Grand Rounds presentations. We met this challenge by recording audio and synchronizing it with slides, which we inserted into a pre-designed Web console. (http://egrandroundscme.asahq.org/)
- Creation of Patient Safety Modules (podcasts). One of our skilled event managers professionally recorded MP3 files and packaged these with PDF transcript documents. (http://psmcme.asahq.org/)
Shortly, we’ll implement a custom-branded Web conferencing portal, to support ASA committee meetings and interactive discussions.
