Maximize AMS & CRM Data via e-Marketing Campaigns
Are you maximizing your organization’s valuable Association Management System or Customer Relationship Management data?
By integrating member/client records with your email marketing efforts, you can:
- Automate tasks to make your e-communications more effective
- Send targeted emails, with meaningful content for each audience
- Improve response rates for click-throughs and calls to action
- Create, send and track marketing campaigns (e.g., membership renewals, annual meetings, Webinar announcements)
Association example: AILA
American Immigration Lawyers Association was seeking to increase outreach efforts to new members, to reinforce the value of their dues investment and sow the seeds of retention for following years.
AILA has six different welcome emails that automatically dispatch to the appropriate member type, per the data from their AMS system.
Going interactive: a step farther…

Not only is AILA maximizing the potential of their AMS via e-marketing, this forward-thinking association worked with CommPartners to produce a specific video greeting from the president of the chapter to which that member belongs. CommPartners recorded these greetings in-studio and edited and encoded these segments to work via the email links.
Getting started
CommPartners’ MagnetMail broadcast email application is fully integrated with leading AMS databases (iMIS, netFORUM, etc.) and CRMs (Salesforce, etc.). For successful e-marketing, you will need a mass email tool (vs. creating lists in Outlook) that can store groups of email contacts, provide pre-send deliverability diagnostics and tracking data.
In addition to improving outreach efforts, integrating database and e-marketing functionality has backend payoffs. Marketing data from your broadcast email application can be delivered into your AMS/CRM, to create a central repository of member activity. This includes email send, open, bounce, click and unsubscribe data.
