President's Message

We had close to 300 members and guests join us for the April conference this year. We had a wonderful turnout and by the looks of the evaluations - we had a terrific program. Our keynote speakers Don Hamm, President and CEO Assurant Health and Karen Lindsey-Lloyd, Director of Field Development, Nothwestern Mutual were well received and their messages resonated well with the audiences. The breakout sessions were well attended and provided hands on tools for members to take back to the work place. The day ended with a great networking event that help blend a little fun with business.

Thanks to all who made this event a success and to those who attended. I want to take this opportunity to recognize the outstanding support we received from sponsors for the Spring Conference.  I especially want to publicly recognize that we failed to acknowledge our lunch sponsor during lunch. Dunhill Professional Search - please accept our sincerest thank you for supporting the spring conference.

In addition thank you to our other sponsors Right Management Consultants and The Employment Guide. Your support of HRMA programming allows us to bring in the great speakers and host these outstanding learning events throughout the year.  Thank you all for your continued support.

Speaking of great programs, have you signed up for the May 10th program yet? The program, The Next "Big Bang" in Recruiting and Retaining Talent: Proactive Talent Management to Improve Business Results presented by Dr. John Sullivan will be held at the Brookfield Suites in Brookfield. Networking begins at 5:30pm. Thanks to our sponsor for this event Trio Solutions. Remember, other than the golf outing in June, this is our last program of this fiscal year. We will be recognizing our leaders and introducing the new board members. Please join us.
