Our presenter will be Michael A. Barr, PhD.  Dr. Barr is Director of Consulting for the Center for Sustainable Solutions at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

The program will cover the following:

Employee Satisfaction is irrelevant really.  It is employee commitment that makes the company profitable. 

Strong employee commitment is related to better customer retention, lower accident rates, higher gross margins, and in general increased organizational effectiveness.  There are several low-cost business practices which can be implemented by first line supervisors that can lead to increased employee commitment.

Dr. Barr will discuss these and conduct and discussion around how to facilitate building employee commitment at the organizational level as well.
