Family Friendly Employer Awards

Metroparent's Second Annual Family Friendly Employer Awards

Similar to Milwaukee Magazine's "Best Places to Work" and The Business Journal's "Great Places to Work" (formerly "Beyond the Paycheck"), the Family Friendly awards recognize area employers who help employees balance work and family.

Employees want flexibility: You've seen surveys like Spherion's 2005 Emerging Workforce Study in which 96 percent of employees agreed that an employer was more attractive when it helped them meet family responsibilities through flextime, work-at-home options, telecommunity and job sharing.

Recognition: A Family Friendly award means recognition in Metroparent and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, on the Metroparent website, and at our Moms@Work luncheon in September. It's an excellent recruitment tool and a great retention tool. Plus, winners use the Family Friendly logo in employment ads, etc.

How to nominate: Companies in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine and Kenosha counties may easily nominate themselves by going to metroparentmagazine.com, clicking on the Family Friendly logo and completing the online form. The deadline is July 1, 2006.

Metroparent's Family Friendly award nominations are now being accepted!  Get your company the recognition it deserves as being a great place for moms and dads to work. Spread the word!
