This is the FREE American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry program that combines the completion of 3.75 hours of online training that provides background on the treatment of opioid dependence and substance use disorders and 4.25 hours of face-to-face/in-class instruction with Richard Fein, D.O. on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Training will focus on clinical vignettes to help participants think through “real life” experiences in opioid dependence treatment.

You MUST COMPLETE the online training PRIOR TO attending the face-to-face training on April 8, 2017. A confirmation with the link for accessing the online training will be emailed to you after you register.

Those wishing to qualify for a waiver to prescribe Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex) must complete ALL components of this program.  This program has been approved for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 CMEs. Please note that currently NPs/PAs can take this 8 hour waiver training and it will count towards their waiver application. The additional 16 hours of training will be available on www.pcssmat.org.
