Save the Date: MICIS Presentation on Opioid Prescribing in Auburn on Wednesday, July 19

Wednesday, July 19 at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, Auburn ME 

This  education session will feature an update on Chapter 488 and DHHS and board rules, as well as clinical content with a compassionate, patient-centered perspective. 

The 3-hour program will begin in the late afternoon. Details including start and end times and the the link to registration for the July 19th presentation will be included in next week's MMA weekly update on June 26. The presentation is free -- advanced registration will be required.

Presented by the Maine Independent Clinical Information Service (MICIS), a program of the Maine Medical Association. This MICIS presentation activity qualifies for a maximum of 3 CME credits of the 3 CME credit requirement for opioid medication education found in P.L. 2015, Chapter 488, Maine's recent legislation to address the opioid drug abuse crisis. (Attendees should only claim credit for the hours they attend.)
