Physician - Lubec, ME
Regional
Medical Center at Lubec seeks a physician willing to lead and expand our
Medication Assisted Treatment services program.
As a key member of the team including medical assistants and onsite
substance abuse and behavioral health counselors, the physician will provide
evaluation and medical management of patients struggling with opiate
addiction. Current unencumbered license
to practice medicine in Maine and Suboxone Certification (or willingness to
take the certification program) required.
Familiarity with evidenced-based chemical dependency care and risk
management strategies a plus. Position
is part time but can be combined
with family practice to be a full time
position. Salary negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and
