E-prescribing for Opioids Required as of Saturday, July 1

All prescribers of opioids should remember that as of this coming Saturday, July 1st, all such prescriptions MUST be in electronic form unless you have obtained a waiver from the PMP.  The application is here.

Senate to Vote on Republican Health Plan This Thursday

Physicians Lose Jury Duty Exemption

By a vote of 26-9 the Maine Senate passed a bill that will now require physicians, attorneys, and others (except the Governor and active duty military personnel) to serve on juries.
