University of New England Opioid Use Disorder and Medication Assisted Treatment Workshop October 28th

Cost: Free (paid for
by a federal grant and UNE funds)
This workshop will host experts discussing the
current climate in Maine concerning the opioid epidemic and its impact on the
state. Attendees will gain knowledge in areas including OUD diagnosis,
prevention and treatment, and emphasizing MAT. This event is free and open to
all health professions. Continuing education credits of at least 5 credit
hours will be offered, including fulfilling the 3 CME credit requirement
for opioid medication education found in P.L. 2015, Chapter 488, Maine’s
recent legislation to address the opioid drug abuse crisis.
