This 3-hour education session will feature an update on Chapter 488 and clinical content with a compassionate, patient-centered perspective, and will include “blitz” didactics, multi-media components, case-based studies and small group discussions. Presented by the Maine Independent Clinical Information Service (MICIS), a program of the Maine Medical Association.

This MICIS presentation activity qualifies for a maximum of 3 CME credits of the 3 CME credit requirement for opioid medication education found in P.L. 2015, Chapter 488, Maine’s recent legislation to address the opioid drug abuse crisis.
