REMINDER: Pursuant to P.L. 2017, Chapter 488, health care practitioners who prescribe opioid medications must have completed 3 hours of CME on opioid prescribing by December 31, 2017.
If you want to continue prescribing opioids in 2018, you must get your 3 hours of Category 1 CME on opioid prescribing before 12/31/17. Here's how.

Legislative Calls to Resume When Legislature Returns
The Maine Legislature is in recess at present. Should they return for a special session in the fall of 2017 (which the Governor has said will happen), the Weekly Update will feature articles concerning aspects of that work of interest to medicine.
