Palliative Care Provider
Mid Coast Hospital is searching for a part-time (20
hours/week) Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Palliative
Care Program. The successful candidate must be licensed in Maine. Experience in
Palliative Care/Hospice preferred. Must
have or be willing to work toward certification in Hospice and Palliative Care.
The Mid Coast Palliative Care Program is a consultation
service available to all hospital inpatients and functions in the role of
supporting patients and families who are facing life-limiting illnesses or end
of life, helping patients and families access resources in the hospital and
after discharge, and providing education on care options when appropriate.
