U.S. House of Representatives Passes 25 Opioid Related Bills
The U.S. House of Representatives last week passed 25 bills to address the nation's opioid crisis.
On June 4th the Kennebec Superior Court ruled that the Maine Department of Health and Human Services must submit a "state plan amendment" implementing the voter-approved Medicaid expansion law. Now the Court has refused to issue a stay, ordering that the amendment be filed pending the administration's appeal.
Maine’s rate is over 10 times the national average.
