Governor Vetoes 24 Healthcare Bills; Legislature Overrides 12...But Not Medicaid Expansion Funding
In the days after the Legislature adjourned, Governor LePage used his veto pen frequently.Twenty-four of the bills vetoed relate to healthcare issues, including the opioid crisis. On Monday, July 9th, the Legislature overrode the vetoes on 12 of those bills.
