Prescription Monitoring Program User Survey
As you know, the misuse of prescription drugs in Maine has become a substantial problem in need of immediate attention. Public Law Chapter 488 and subsequent rules address one aspect of the problem through prescribing and dispensing regulations under the auspices of the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).
In order to determine the strengths and weaknesses of regulations surround the PDMP, the Department of Health and Human Services' Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHS) has contracted with Hornby Zeller Associates, Inc., a Public Consulting Group Company (PCG) to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Maine's PDMP. As part of the study, PCG is gathering and analyzing data related to utilization of the PDMP across the state.
Your responses will be crucial to recommendations aimed at improving the system. Please use the link below to access and complete the survey. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete and is confidential. Data from the survey will be reported in aggregate only. In the event you are unable to complete the survey in one session, you can "save" and reopen the survey later. When the survey is complete, please click on the "submit" button.
