U.S. Senate Expected to Vote Today on Opioid Legislation Package The United States Senate is expected to vote today (Monday, Sept. 17) on a package of bills dealing with the opioid issues in the country. If this process is successful, the final package could then be sent to the President's desk, hopefully before the midterm election (Nov. 6) or, in any case, before the end of the calendar year.
