In partnership with MMA, two programs are being offered on November 30th:
Suicide
Assessment for Clinicians -Learn about suicide trends in high risk
populations across the lifespan and the steps of a suicide risk assessment
interview. Learn about intervention, determination of level of care, treatment,
and referral. Designed for those working in mental health and primary care
clinical roles who need more in-depth resources. Review of the Columbia Suicide
Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) - approved for CME’s as well as CEUs.
Non-Suicidal
Self Injury: Prevention and Management in a Healthcare Setting -Non-suicidal
self-injury is the direct, deliberate destruction of body tissue in the absence
of suicidal intent is on the rise among youth and young adults. This training
reviews demographics, risk factors, and warning signs as well as
recommendations for assessment, intervention, and management of self-injury
with protocol development and implementation resources to support clinical
providers, behavioral health clinicians, and other professional staff working
in educational or healthcare settings.
