129th Maine Legislature Convenes this Week
The 129th Maine Legislature will convene on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at which time the election of the constitutional officers including the Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer and State Auditor will take place. Following the session, legislators are expected to adjourn until January 2, 2019.
All are welcome to help the MMA determine its legislative agenda for the 129th Maine Legislature.
The MMA Board of Directors will meet on this coming Wednesday, Dec. 5, in MMA's newly renovated conference room in the Frank O. Stred Building in Manchester.

House Speaker Sara Gideon (D-Freeport) will retain her position, while Senator Troy Jackson (D-Allagash) will assume the position of Senate President as the result of the change in majority party in the Maine Senate.
