Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) seeks physician for a part-time, academic year contract position.  MMA is a four-year state supported college in Castine, Maine, is seeking proposals for the contracted services of a State of Maine licensed physician to assist in providing general and acute care for its students. These services include, but are not limited to: Acute medical care, both urgent and routine; Reviewing physicals for qualification for MMA programs of study; Performing United States Coast Guard physical examinations for students in the license program; Performing as the Medical Review Officer for MMA’s Coast Guard certified Drug Testing Program; Provide standing orders and medical oversight for MMA’s certified Athletic Training staff for all intercollegiate athletic programs at MMA; Performing physicals for MMA’s intercollegiate student-athletes as needed; Coordinating with MMA’s athletic training staff for treatment of athletes.
