New Maine CDC Director Appointed
Dr. Nirav D. Shah, MD, JD, has been selected as the new director of the Maine CDC.
Day-long summit will bring together national and state leaders to collaborate on the state’s ongoing response to the opioid crisis and help inform future initiatives to combat it.

MMA Legislative Call Tuesday, May 28th
The Maine Legislature is in full swing, with over 1760 bills printed. As we approach statutory adjournment date (June 19th), public hearings and work sessions are beginning to tail off while voting on bills increases. There's still work to do on the MMA Legislative Calls. The next call will be Tuesday, May 28th, at 8 p.m.
