Health & Human Services Committee Welcomes New CDC Director
Dr. Nirav Shah, Maine's new CDC director, was welcomed last week by the Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee.
The Maine CDC, led by its new director Dr. Nirav Shah in his first days on the job, has responded quickly and in strength to the recent influx of asylum seekers from Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo into the Portland community.
