10th Annual Silent Auction to Be Held at Annual Session
This year marks the 10th annual MMA Silent Auction, held during the MMA Annual Session, taking
place the weekend of September 6-8. All proceeds from the auction
directly benefit the Maine Medical Education Trust which provides scholarships
to Maine students pursuing a degree in medicine. The stated amount of your donation can be used as a
tax deduction as the MMET is a non-profit organization.
Donated items include both new and gently used items such as paintings and other art work, pottery and other items from local artisans, gift certificates to local restaurants or events, wood crafts and small furniture items, and gift baskets. Your contribution will greatly help us meet the increasing
demands for financial assistance by Maine’s future medical providers and meet
the needs of our members who look to the MMA to provide quality CME
programs. Click here to download a Donation Form. Thank you for your consideration!
Features of the
Annual Session this year include a panel on Saturday with The Honorable Janet
T. Mills, Governor of Maine, and her team of health leaders to present the
outline of actions addressing Maine's health needs. Sunday morning a
panel discussion will feature how physicians can engage in leadership roles. Visit https://www.mainemed.com/cme-education-info/annual-session to learn more about the program.
