The Maine Medical Association is pleased to announce that Daniel R. Morin will join the state’s largest physician professional organization to direct its government affairs and communications efforts beginning on January 1, 2020.
A new study published in Science suggests that contracting measles leads to immune suppression lasting two to three years. The vaccine prevents this outcome. The study was conducted by researchers from Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
