Additional CARES Act Provider Assistance Details and Timing Released

On April 24, a portion of providers will automatically be sent an advance payment based off the revenue data they submit in CMS cost reports. Providers without adequate cost report data on file will need to submit their revenue information to a portal opening this week at https://www.hhs.gov.

Congress: Paycheck Protection Program Update

Last week, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), an important part of the most recent major COVID-19 funding relief bill (CARES Act), ran out of money. Congressional then reached a deal, known as “Stimulus 3.5.” The new bill is an interim pandemic relief bill that extends the SBA loan program included in the CARES Act (or “Stimulus 3”).
