A new version of the Maine Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) is up and ruuning. Reporting and oversight of controlled substance dispenses is now called, RxGov. 

Key dates for Clinician users of the PMP: ·         

August 3 – Clinicians may begin registering in the new RxGov ·         

September 23 - Deadline for clinicians to register. ·         

September 30 - Access to the legacy PMP system will be terminated at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

How to Register with RxGov 

1. Go to https://mepmp.rxgov.com 

2. Select “Register” 

3. Under Account Type, select your role. If you are not sure which RxGov user role is right for you, please view RxGov User Role Definitions on the Maine.gov PMP website to ensure you select the appropriate role. 

4. Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you used to register your Maine RxGov Please confirm your account by clicking the hyperlink in this email. 

Once you have registered and confirmed your account, our team must review your registration. As soon as this review is complete, you will receive an email notification that your RxGov account has been activated. This process may take 3 to 5 business days.
