Mills Administration Announces Launch of New COVID-19 Testing Sites

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced this week the launch of two new COVID-19 testing sites in Maine through a partnership with Promerica Health. According to DHHS, the additional sites expand access to standard and rapid COVID-19 testing to people in Maine who think they need a test, regardless of symptoms and without the need for a referral from a health provider.

Maine’s Workers’ Compensation Board staff released a memo to the Workers’ Compensation Board regarding a periodic review of the medical fee schedule required by law. The memo included a staff recommendation that the Workers’ Compensation Board maintain its current conversion factors & base rates. Should status quo be maintained, no rulemaking will be necessary.
