CDC cuts length of COVID-19 quarantine time after exposure

The United States CDC this week updated guidelines on quarantining following potential COVID-19 exposure while noting there is residual risk with its new approach. As a result, Maine CDC is changing the quarantine periodfor individuals known to be close contacts of cases of COVID-19 to 10 days.
