MMA Legislative Committee Chair Jay Mullen, M.D. would like to thank everyone who participated in our weekly Legislative Committee Updates. It was a busy session for health care and health legislation, and our legislative meetings were essential in giving MMA the guidance needed to support or oppose significant legislation.

Preparation for the next Legislative Session has already begun, and regular Legislative Updates will begin as soon as necessary. In the meantime, enjoy your summer, and don't forget to cultivate your relationships with your Representative and Senator. They appreciate hearing from you, not just on health issues but on any matters in which you have an interest.
