We are searching for a detail oriented, highly skilled and motivated Contract Clinical Advisor to serve the Healthcare Coalition of Maine (HCCME), a membership group composed of hospitals, EMS, emergency management, public health, and other stakeholders. HCCME is responsible for providing statewide coordination of healthcare emergency preparedness and response services in accordance with ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience as a clinically active physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse residing in Maine
• Knowledge of medical surge issues, basic familiarity with chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives (CBRNE), trauma, burn, and pediatric emergency response principles
• Excellent communication, Microsoft Office skills
• Awareness of Coalitions

This position will require:

• Flexible working style, ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Self-directed work, limited oversight, teamwork
• Domestic travel which may include weekends; Majority of travel within Maine.
• Valid, unexpired drivers’ license
• Clean driving record
