The Maine Vaccine Board voted to include two new vaccine products to the approved list of available vaccines supplied through the Maine Immunization Program (MIP).

The newly approved vaccines are:

• The meningococcal quadrivalent conjugate vaccine (MenACWY) vaccine formulation, MenQuadfi™ (Sanofi).

• VAXELIS™ (Sanofi and Merck), the new hexavalent vaccine indicated for protection against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib)
