MaineCare: Interim Palivizumab Prophylaxis Coverage to Prevent Hospitalization from RSV MaineCare recently announced interim coverage for use of palivizumab prophylaxis to prevent hospitalization from severe respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection during the current atypical inter-seasonal RSV spread.
Hearing and Comment Period: Maine Immunization Requirements for Healthcare Workers Under
emergency rule-making powers, Governor Mills announced in
early August that it would require health care workers in Maine to be
vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 1st. However, earlier this
month her administration
announced that it would not begin enforcement of health care worker vaccination

Opioid Response Seminar Series resumed with a one-hour webinar featuring the
Maine Naloxone Distribution Initiative (MNDI). The state’s purchase and
distribution of naloxone began in July 2019 following the announcement earlier
